The environmental aspect of the ESG concept is fundamental. The Bank recognizes the urgent need to address climate change and strives to reduce carbon emissions into the atmosphere by promoting "smart" agriculture, resource and energy efficiency, "clean" transport, and the use of renewable energy sources.

Technology and innovation

Technology is essential for sustainable economic development and the preservation of the planet's natural resources. All innovations that reduce waste, reduce pollutant emissions, replace materials with more environmentally friendly ones are a step towards doing business responsibly.

 

The credit conveyor 

In the first half of 2023, the Bank began testing the credit conveyor. Integration of the credit conveyor with the Bank's ABS, СIB (Credit Information Bureau) Ishenim. In the first quarter, conducted full integration of the credit conveyor with RS Bank. Also, MasterAPS is integrated with CIB Ishenim and Tunduk. Implementation of the credit conveyor is planned for the second quarter of 2024.

Reducing emissions

As part of measures to decarbonize its operations, the Bank is step by step converting its company car fleet to electric vehicles. Currently, the Bank has 10 electric service vehicles and this number will increase.

In order to reduce the burden on landfill and develop circular economy, the Bank has introduced a separate waste collection system. Employees have been trained, necessary materials have been purchased and responsible persons have been appointed to support the implementation of the system.

This practice has a positive environmental impact and creates a favorable, socially and environmentally responsible business reputation of the Bank.

Sustainable financing

The Bank has products and credit programs “Ayim Credit”, “Ecoproduct” that contribute to achieving positive social and environmental effects. More than 19 thousand socially and environmentally oriented loans were provided. “Green Technology Financing” Program,  Under this program, green loans are issued for the following 7 main  categories:

  • Green Transportation;
  • Renewable Energy;
  • Green Buildings; 
  • Air Quality Improvements;
  • Sustainable use of water and waste;
  • Sustainable agriculture.

Target green portfolio - 15% of the total portfolio in the next 5-7 years.
